The Environmental Affairs Unit is located at the Environmental Service Facility (344).

The Radiation Safety Office is located at the Chemical and Nuclear Engineering Building (090)

The Chesapeake Building is located less than a quarter of a mile off of University Boulevard, west of US Rt. 1 in College Park, Maryland. DES is located on the third floor of the building.

From Virginia: follow I95 to Exit 25B for Route 1 (South),
then follow directions below.

From Baltimore/BWI: take I95 south. As I95 merges with Capital Beltway 95/495, follow signs for the Route 1 exit.

Take exit 25B onto Route 1 South for 1.1 miles.
Take the exit ramp for Route. 193 West (University Blvd).
The sign will direct you towards: University of Maryland System Administration / Byrd Stadium. Proceed for 0.7 miles
Turn left at the first traffic light onto Paint Branch Drive (Azalea Lane) into the University of Maryland campus.
Take the second possible right turn off Paint Branch Drive into parking lot P2. (The first turn is a private driveway.)

Parking regulations are strictly enforced. Parking is available next to and across the street from the building. Visitors may use metered parking. If you need additional directions, please call (301) 405-3960.
